Li was among the pioneer organizers who entered the 'China Team' in the America's Cup international race and has been one of the major driving forces of the early development of China's water sports industry. His many posts and titles include Vice Chairman of Chinese Yachting Association, Assistant to Chairman of Sailing Committee (Qingdao), Chinese Olympic Committee and he is the only Asian director of the International Sailing Federation. Li is an authority on boat sailing in China and has taken his part in the "Cross Four Oceans"intercontinental sailing competition, the America's Cup and The King's Cup.

Zhong leads the Shenzhen Across Four Oceans Business Consulting Co Ltd, which is a founder member of CCIR organizing committee. As the former managing director of Shenzhen Longcheer Yacht Club and a sailing enthusiast, Zhong was involved in organizing "Across Four Oceans"– the first ever intercontinental sailing event in China. After observing the operational procedures of The King's Cup in Thailand and other worldwide boat matches, Zhong has become an experienced organizer of international boat sailing competitions. Zhong possesses strong marketing awareness of emerging sports related business issues in China, and plans to further promote Chinese boat sailing culture to the world through the CCIR.

Born 1968 in Enshi county of Hubei Province, China, Luo has been named by magazine as the One of the ten most influential Elites in China. He founded "www.500wan.com", a Chinese online lottery transaction platform after graduating from Wuhan University. As a professional sailor, Luo began purchasing a number of luxury yachts and sailboats in 2003. Luo skippered the first ever intercontinental sailing competition in China, the "Across Four Oceans" in 2005, sailing from France to Shenzhen with an amateur crew aboard the Nautitech, visiting 26 countries in the 11,000 mile journey to national acclaim. He subsequently joined the 19th King's Cup in Phuket, which marked the first presence of Chinese sailor in a world class competition.

Wang Chaoyong, the founder of a successful investment firm, headed the team of Chinese and French sailors who created history by competing as the mainland's first representative in the glamorous America's Cup. "When I first saw the ocean, I had a real passion for it, and it had a big impact on me with its power and breadth," says Mr. Wang, who founded the technology-focused venture capital firm ChinaEquity. Wang rallied government officials, corporate sponsors, and the international sailing community to realise his plan to put China on the yachting map.

Shao Bing used to be a kayak athlete several years ago and having been attracted by the charm of the China Cup has returned to his original profession – aquatic sports. His background and healthy image suits the natural and adventurous spirit of sailing. Shao sang China Cup's theme song, Fantastic Voyage. With his passion for sailing, Shao purchased a Beneteau First 40.7, naming it 'Starlights' and competing in the 2007 regatta.
